Indian Highway is a traveling group exhibition that presents, through a wide range of works, the overall picture of contemporary Indian art scene.

Exhibited for the first time at the Serpentine Gallery in London in 2009, Indian Highway touched famous international events up to the MAXXI, ending in New Delhi in 2013. At each stage, the exhibition takes on particular features, with works conceived and exhibited specially for the occasion. The exhibition at the MAXXI represents an exciting and long-awaited opportunity to learn about Indian art, and is the first study dealt with by an Italian museum on the art of this fascinating country.
