PASS In Amsterdam: Kodwo Eshun

Kodwo Eshun is a British-Ghanaian writer, theorist, lecturer and filmmaker based in London. Along with Anjalika Sagar, Eshun founded the The Otolith Group, a research based artists organisation focused on exploring the moving image, the archive, the sonic and the aural within the gallery context.

The Otolith Group have exhibited their works worldwide and are commissioned to develop and exhibit their art works, research and publications by a wide range institutions. This work acts as a resource that is documented on their website and supports The Otolith Group’s public platform under the name of The Otolith Collective, which coexists by curating, programming, publishing and supporting the presentation of artists work, contributing to a critical field of exploration between visual culture and exhibiting in contemporary art.

In October 2015, The Pan African Space Station collaborated with The Showroom and The Otolith Collective as part of The Chimurenga Library. Visit PASS on Mixcloud to listen to recordings from these sessions.

Kodwo Eshun will be on PASS in Amsterdam on Sunday 11 December at 15:00, and on Wednesday 14 December, alongside Sammy Baloji, Akinbide Akinbiyi and Adeola Enigbokan, at 14:00 at OBA Central Library in Amsterdam.
