Khandakar Ohida is among the finalists of the seventh Jameel Prize!
The Jameel Prize is the V&A’s award for contemporary art inspired by Islamic culture, society and ideas. This edition is devoted to moving image and digital media.
Khandakar Ohida’s film ‘Dream Your Museum’ (2022) documents her uncle’s extraordinary collection of objects and memorabilia, gathered over the last 50 years in India.
The finalists’ work will be shown in the upcoming exhibition, Jameel Prize: Moving Images, opening this November at V&A South Kensington.
