The Missing Pavilion is the second exhibition funded by Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation and curated by the students of Visual Arts, Jawaharlal Nehru University, as part of the Curatorial Course taught by Gayatri Sinha.
It takes the form of a poetic reflexion on the constant absence of an Indian pavilion at the Venice Biennale and explores the related themes of loss, desire, frustration, identity, representation and cultural ambitions in a globalised world, using the language of contemporary art.
