Huge congratulations to Khandakar Ohida for winning the V&A’s prestigious Jameel Prize: Moving Images with her work, Dream Your Museum (2022)!
The project is an invitation to all to think differently about the “museum idea” – offering a contesting approach to the formal museum and urging all to find and attribute significance to objects in their lives – creating important interpersonal narratives within their own spheres.
Dream Your Museum can be viewed as part of the Jameel Prize: Moving Images exhibition at V&A South Kensington from 30 November 2024 - 16 March 2025.
