A Body Without Organs
The title of this show, by Mumbai-based artist Prajakta Potnis, refers to Capitalism and Schizophrenia, a theoretical work by Gilles Deleuze and Feliz Guattari, which proposed the concept of a body without organs. While her previous works explored objects and their inner lives, for this series she examines what makes the human body tick, by bringing together painting, video and radiography.
