The rich greens, orbiting circles and disruptive fluid shapes in Mukherjee’s piece can only be described as visually arresting, positioned as they are against a corner that exaggerated the depth of its central spiral. The use of print and painting techniques, as well as the disruption of the rings’ structures, is seen as a commentary on the practice of painting and creativity.
